Natural light isn't just a design element — it's an emotion that changes through the day. Lighting Design is how we shape that emotion, deliberately.
Overview
The same room can feel entirely different at eight in the morning and eight at night, and almost none of that difference is accidental once you understand how to design for it. Lighting Design considers how daylight moves through a space across the seasons, and how artificial light needs to pick up where it leaves off — layering ambient, task, and accent light rather than relying on a single ceiling fixture to do every job. Done well, lighting disappears into the background of a space; you notice only that a room feels right, rarely why.
